About Us

From an early age, my interest has been wildlife and their natural habitat. 

My love of nature soon became a driving force in my work.

After spending a large part of my life 

in Africa, I still return to the African game reserves to draw inspiration. 

After working in most mediums I’ve settled 

on working in oils on canvas.

My love of birds, especially game birds 

and waders are now subjects of my more recent work.

I am passionate about the protection of our wetlands and deeply concerned for the decline in the numbers of our song birds. 

Through my work I hope to encourage this same passion in others. 

I have had many solo and group exhibitions here in the United Kingdom 

and in South Africa. 

I am the author of the ‘Hilmy the Hippo’ 

series which has sold successfully 

throughout the world. 

More recently, I’ve branched into adult fiction, having published ‘The Apricot Tree’ 

through Amazon.
